Hiking
Walk the cool redwood forests of Oakland or feel the Pacific breeze in the Marin Headlands (autumn hike, left). Climb up Mount Tamalpais or Mount Diablo, or up Twin Peaks. Take an urban stroll and find all the hidden staircases in San Francisco. The Bay Area is a marvel of sheer beauty.
