Donald Masuda Vanguard Award

Donald Masuda was a founding member of GAPA and the GAPA Community HIV Project (GCHP). He was a constant presence in GAPA’s history and worked tirelessly to advance the interests of the LGBTQ API communities.

In Donald’s spirit of gathering groups of people together, growing new ideas, building resources, and supporting each other throughout the way, The Donald Masuda Vanguard Award recognizes aspirational role models for queer and trans Asians & Pacific Islanders.
