GAPA Theatre presents an informal reading of new pieces and works-in-progress that tell stories from an intergenerational Queer & Transgender Asian & Pacific Islander (QTAPI) perspective.

With this free online presentation, we will explore significant cultural shifts that have affected us all during this turbulent year. Inflamed by the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 raises questions that touch upon numerous issues, including barriers to intimacy and interpersonal connection, social isolation for both our LGBTQA+ and API families and communities, solidarity among communities of color in the face of racism, and more.

GAPA Theatre believes that at the heart of sharing our stories as QTAPI artists, we are attempting to connect more deeply with ourselves, and, in turn, helping us connect more deeply with others and our community. Join us as we take on 2020.
