GAPA Theatre Mission

GAPA Theatre is an intergenerational collective of QTAPI writers, performers and storytellers. We mentor emerging artists and those interested in the performing arts and theater, by supporting artistic development through skills building and technical workshops in writing, acting and directing, as well as producing public readings of works-in-progress and full-length performances for both virtual and in-person audiences.

About the 2022 Hearts and Minds program

The Hearts and Minds program is funded by the CA Humanities whose mission is “to connect Californians to ideas and one another in order to understand our shared heritage and diverse cultures, inspire civic participation, and shape our future”. That is the shared vision for GAPA Theatre’s “Hearts & Minds” program as we continue our work in ensuring that our QTAPI stories continue to be told through the work of the Hearts & Minds Artist Cohort.
