We are on our way to Laramie, Wyoming, but we will not arrive until tomorrow. We stopped for lunch at a Lebanese restaurant in Salt Lake City and in a moment of serendipity, we met 5 writers from the only liberal magazine ("Catalyst") in the city. It was an amazing coincidence and the writers have become part of the Caravan documentary. Our Day 2 travel day was about 7 hours on the bus. To keep ourselves on message and to debrief, caravan riders shared their personal stories while on the long trip. There was a lot of laughter, tears, and most importantly, a sense of community and why we were on this mission. Jeanne and Jennifer |
