GAPA and San Francisco Pride have always gone together as naturally as bacon and eggs, wine and cheese, and politics and San Francisco. This year our winning design by Rommel DeGuzman centers around a Japanese sushi boat theme. Realizing that the members or GAPA makes the organization what it is, we realize that the members of GAPA should be an integral part of the float and so will be giving the opportunity for our members ride the float wearing sushi costumes. We will be relying on GAPA members to make the float into a display to remember.

In addition to the float, GAPA has rented 3 booth spaces at the Civic Center and will be using those spaces to create the largest display of GAPA Pride ever seen. The booth will have a display of framed photography narrating the history of GAPA's 15 years, its present, and its future. It will also be a destination for our members and supporters to relax and socialize.

Thank you for getting aboard the Pride train and making it this far.

Its alot to ask of you and the other GAPA members, but I know that there are alot of generous spirits out there. I and the rest of the Pride Committee can only offer our eternal thanks in return.
